Health Risks: Malaria, hepatitis A, tuberculosis, dengue fever, sunburn. Don't drink Haitian tap water, and be wary of food that might have been washed in tap water.

Rainfall varies but average annual rainfall on the north coast and mountainous interior varying from 77 - 273 incheswhile the west side of the country receives only 20 inches. Average temperature ranges in Port-au-Prince are from 25 degrees Celsius in January to 29 degrees Celsius in July.
