Tourism: Bosnia and Herzegovina has undergone some appalling times of late, but it is slowly coming back to normality. They have a number of festivals through the year. There are still risks from occasional localised political violence, unexploded landmines and ordnance, carjackings and petty crime brought on by the high unemployment rate. Use caution when travelling.
